Welcome to the Okemah Airport! We have a 3400 ft runway located just off Interstate 40 with easy access to the City. We invite all aircraft/airmen to fly in or stop by for a visit. Okemah’s Airport is in the development phase which will include Hangers, lounge, bathrooms, a training room, security gate, ample parking and a credit card operated fuel facility. Our airport has ample space for development for any aviation industry looking to locate along the I-40 corridor.
Located in the Hub of Oklahoma’s Aviation Industry, just 65 miles east of Oklahoma City and 70 miles south of Tulsa. Both Oklahoma City and Tulsa have multiple Aviation businesses. In our area Holdenville, Seminole, and Okemah have existing aviation businesses located within the cities. With Okemah currently developing the airport’s infrastructure, it is the perfect time to establish your business here. Training and employee development programs are available from the Wes Watkins Technology Center and is something we can custom develop to suit your needs.
