Open Bids

The City of Okemah will receive bids for hay to be cut, baled, and removed from the Okemah Industrial Park & Okemah Municipal Airport.

Bids will be priced per round bales with the size of the round bale included: such as 4′ x 5′; 5′ x 5′; 5′ x 6′; 6′ x 6′. The successful bidder must bale the hay and remove the bales from the Airport by September 30, 2021. The successful bidder must bale the hay and remove the bales from the Industrial Park by July 9, 2021. The successful bidder may cut and bale all non leased City property located within the Okemah Industrial Park/Municipal Airport but must indicate to the City which parcels they intend to cut and bale in the Bid Proposal. Details on parcel availability can be obtained at City Hall.

Bids must be sealed and identified on the outside of the envelope as “Sealed Bid for Hay Baling – Industrial Park/Municipal Airport” and delivered to the Okemah City Clerk, Okemah City Hall, 502 West Broadway, Okemah Oklahoma 74859.

The City of Okemah will receive bids until Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. The bids will be opened and recorded in the City Manager’s office on April 21, 2021, at 4:01 p.m. and presented to the Okemah City Council at the next regular meeting on April 26, 2021, for the award of the bid. Payment for the hay by the successful bidder must be received on or before November 1, 2021. The City of Okemah reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
